About Chairman Abdrabouh
Dr. Walead Abdrabouh is a community leader, public servant, and Chair of the Atlantic County Democratic Committee. With a leadership philosophy rooted in service, collaboration, and relationship-building, he is committed to strengthening community connections, expanding grassroots participation, and building an organization that serves residents year-round—not just during election seasons.
A longtime resident and active member of the Atlantic County community, Dr. Abdrabouh has served as President of the Galloway Democrat Club, and more recently as Secretary for the Atlantic County Democratic Committee. He worked to bring together elected officials, committee members, volunteers, and local stakeholders around a shared vision of effective leadership and civic responsibility. His focus is on fostering a culture of unity, respect, and engagement while supporting Democratic candidates and advancing initiatives that improve the quality of life for residents throughout the county.
Professionally, Dr. Abdrabouh brings more than 26 years of higher education leadership experience in technology, operations, and organizational development. He currently works as the Director of Operations and Technology at Stockton University’s division of Enrollment Management, and has built his career on solving complex challenges, developing collaborative teams, and creating systems that help organizations achieve long-term success. Those same principles guide his public service and political leadership.
Dr. Abdrabouh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Rutgers University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stockton University, and a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Organizational Leadership from Stockton University. He lives in Galloway Township.
About Vice Chair Bridgers
Dr. Hollisha Bridgers is an educational leader, community advocate, and public servant dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities throughout Atlantic County. She currently serves as Assistant Principal of Galloway Township Middle School, where she collaborates with students, families, educators, and community stakeholders to promote academic excellence, sustain a positive school culture, and support student success.
Dr. Bridgers earned a Bachelor of Science from Norfolk State University, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Stockton University, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership from Stockton University.
A committed servant leader, Dr. Bridgers has devoted her career to education, civic engagement, and community advocacy. She serves as the newly elected Vice Chairwoman of the Atlantic County Democratic Committee and is an active member of the Atlantic City Democratic Committee, where she supports community engagement and civic participation.
In addition to her political leadership, Dr. Bridgers serves as President of the Atlantic/Cape May Principals' and Supervisors' Association and previously served on the Atlantic City Board of Education. She is also a proud member of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Iota Chapter, and the Atlantic City Branch of the NAACP.
Driven by a passion for service, Dr. Bridgers remains committed to building stronger communities, expanding opportunities for future generations, and ensuring that every resident has a meaningful voice in shaping the future of Atlantic County.
